    ENTERTAINMENT: Davido loses only son, few days after birthday

    Condolence messages have continued to pour in for award-winning Nigerian artiste, Davido, and his finance, Chioma Rowland, following the death of their three-year-old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

    Ifeanyi reportedly drowned in a swimming pool at his father’s residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos State, while his parents were out of town and was left to the care of his minders.

    After being pulled out of the swimming pool, he was rushed to a hospital in the Lekki area of the state, where he was confirmed dead on arrival by a doctor on duty.

    Now, eight domestic workers of Davido are being questioned by the police in connection with the death of the three-year-old.

    The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed this, said after questioning the domestic workers on the circumstances surrounding the death of the three-year-old boy, anyone found culpable of negligence would be held back to assist in the ongoing investigation.

    Davido and Chioma are yet to react to the tragic development, as of the time of this report.

    Recall that Ifeanyi clocked three-year-old on October 20 and his father, Davido, had taken to Instagram to write “I pray with all my heart that God grants you perfect health and pure happiness for as long as humanly possible… You will grow to be greater than Me, Happy birthday, son”.

    Reports from sources close to him confirm that the comedian died at Evercare Hospital. Fans have been expressing their condolences on social media, recalling the movies in which the late actor appeared.

    Speaking at the event Uche Nnaji expresses concern for the many youths and young men and women in prison calling on the Nigeria Ministry of Interior to create more partnerships with NGOs, Businesses, and individuals so the reform of prisons in Nigeria will be a thing of reality.
