BREAKING: EFCC arrests Bobrisky over naira abuse
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has taken into custody Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, a figure known for controversial behavior including the abuse of Nigerian currency, spraying of naira notes, and engaging in currency mutilation.
Bobrisky was apprehended in Lagos during the evening hours of Wednesday and is currently being held at the Lagos Command of the EFCC. Dele Oyewale, the spokesperson for the EFCC, confirmed this development in a telephone interview on Thursday, stating that Bobrisky will face charges in court.
