World cup: kizz Daniel to perform in Qatar

Kizz Daniel, a Nigerian singer, has been confirmed as one of the headline performers at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

FIFA, the World Cup organisers, confirmed the news on Friday when they announced the five official performing artistes for the event.

He is the only African artiste on FIFA’s list of headliners for the FIFA Fan Festival during the World Cup, performing alongside five international award-winning singers.

Diplo, an American DJ and Music Producer, will perform on November 22, while Kizz Daniel will perform on November 23.

Nora Fatehi, a Canadian crooner, will perform on November 29; Trinidad Cardona, an American singer, will perform on December 1; and Calvin Harris, from Scotland, will perform on December 10.

On Friday, FIFA announced the lineup on its official Instagram page.

This is a dream come true for the singer, who tweeted about his desire to perform at the World Cup in June.

Kizz Daniel has established himself in the industry as a creator of viral hits.

His single “Buga,” on which he collaborated with Tecno, received worldwide attention as world leaders and celebrities participated in the viral Buga Challenge.

Kizz Daniel released another hit single, “Odo” (Cough), in October, which is currently trending on the Internet.

His career

On his birthday in May 2015, Kizz Daniel released his third follow-up single, “Laye,” along with a video two weeks later that was shot in various locations in the eastern part of Africa and directed by AJE FILMS. On May 14, 2016, Daniel released his first studio album titled: “New Era.”

After leaving his previous label, G-WorldWide, he went on to launch his own personal imprint, FLYBOY I.N.C., which recently signed two new acts, Demmie Vee and Philkeyz. Following that, Kizz Daniel was featured on Demmie Vee’s single “You Go Wait?”

The WOJU crooner had a successful year in 2018, featuring Wizkid on the hit song “FOR YOU” and Davido on another single “One Ticket,” which charted within 24 hours of its release.

Kizz Daniel released “No Bad Songz,” his second studio album and first under FlyBoy Inc, on December 30th, 2018. The album included 20 songs, including the pre-released One Ticket, on which he collaborated with Davido.

Nasty C, Diamond Platiumz, Philkeyz, Demmie Vee, DJ Xclusive, Wretch 32, Diplo, and Sarkodie also contributed to the album. The album received positive reviews from music fans and debuted at No. 55 on the US iTunes Chart before quickly rising to No. 1 on the global Album Chart within 24 hours of its release.

On June 25, 2020, he released his third studio album, ‘King of Love.’
