The 26-year-old singer Khalid has confirmed his sexuality in a bold social media post.
The artist declared, “🏳️🌈!!! There you go, next topic please, lol!” proudly displaying the LGBTQIA flag.
He further stated that he isn’t ashamed of his sexuality.
The buzz started when fellow artist Hugo D Almonte posted a suggestive photo on X, hinting at a past relationship with Khalid.
Hugo claimed he dated Khalid but the relationship ended up in a breakup.
Following the breakup, Almonte further alleged that he had been falsely accused of breaking into Khalid’s house, which was the reason he posted the picture, and publicly came out to clear the air.
One curious fan commented, “Wait, hope Mr Khalid isn’t Gehhhhhhh?” Khalid’s straightforward reply was, “I am and that’s okay.”
Khalid later added, “I wasn’t hiding anything! It’s just not any of your business.”
Fans are buzzing with mixed reactions, but Khalid’s honesty has certainly made an impact.
