Tragic Death at Bowen University
The administration of Bowen University in Iwo, Nigeria, sadly announced the passing of a student in the College of Management and Social Sciences.
On Wednesday, January 22, 2025, around 8:20 PM, staff and students discovered the student running towards the staff quarters, where he suddenly collapsed and hit his head on the pavement. Closer inspection revealed he had sustained an abdominal injury before the fall.
Security officers reported no signs of a fight. The student received emergency transport to the university hospital. Doctors found additional bruises on his neck, indicating a struggle. Despite efforts, he passed away late that night.
