US: thirteen died in fatal car crash in California.


Twenty ~five people were said to have been traveling in an SUV car on Tuesday, which would legally have a capacity of eight or nine people.

Thirteen people were reported dead and more were injured after an SUV collided with a trailer truck in southern California, near the US Mexico border.

Twelve people died at the scene , and another later succumbed to there injuries in hospital.

At press conference on Tuesday, California highway patrol chief Omar Watson said, “obviously that the vehicle is not meant for that number of people,” it is unfortunate that the number of people were put in that vehicle .
