Grammys: Burnaboy, Davido Are Learners in Music – Wizkid

Despite winning Grammy awards and international recognitions, Nigerian music sensation, Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid says Davido, Burnaboy and himself haven’t reached the peak of the music industry and are just scratching the surface.

The Grammy award winner stated that it is up to the next generation of Nigerian artistes to take the country’s music industry to a level higher than they have been able to take it.

Speaking in an interview with ArisePlay, Big Wiz further said that he believes that up and coming artistes will do better in taking the Nigerian music Industry above and beyond, stressing that everything is impossible.

His words, “Nothing is impossible. You know you can really take it above and beyond. We are just scratching the surface; me, Burna, and David.

“I believe the next generation will take it to the next level because we are still like learners.

“All we do is inspiring the young people, showing them that everything is possible by doing what you have to do,” he said.

Recall that Burna boy and Wizkid recently won their first Grammy’s. While Burnaboy won the award for the Best Global Music Album ‘Twice as Tall’, Wizkid won Best music video for ‘Brown Skin Girl’ with Beyoncé.
