GAMBIA AFCON U20:The Young Scorpions qualified for quarter finals

The Gambia Under 20 team, the young Scorpions qualified to the AFCON quarter finals, after they won their first tournament against Ghana.

Kajally Drammeh cancelled Issahaku 9th minute opener for Ghana in 16th minute, and Lamarana Jallow who was awarded man of the match scored the winner for the scorpions in the 33 minute of the game.
The young scorpions will now face Central African Republic on Friday 26 february 2021.
The Scorpions had a slow start in the tournament, losing 1-0 to Morocco in their first game; and a disappointing 1-1 draw against Tanzania, before beating Ghana 2-1 today.
Despite the slow start, Gambia finished second in the group with 4 points and 3 goals, Morocco finished top with 7 points and 3 goals.
